The questions we are asked most about choosing prayer beads, ordering, shipping and bespoke production.
How can I tell real amber prayer beads?
Real amber is light and floats in salt water; it warms quickly in the palm and gives off a faint pine-resin scent; rubbed on fabric it picks up small pieces of paper through static. At Onurlu Tesbihane every amber piece is made from genuine stone, by hand.
Should I buy a 33-bead or a 99-bead set?
33-bead sets are practical for daily use and sit easily in a pocket; 99-bead sets are more traditional and striking. Bead size (6–12 mm) determines how the set feels in the hand. The choice is entirely personal.
How do I place an order?
Add the piece you like to your basket with “Add to cart”, then enter your delivery details on the Checkout page to place the order. You can pay by credit/debit card (on PayTR's secure infrastructure) or confirm over WhatsApp. For a single item you can also use the “Order on WhatsApp” button directly.
Is payment secure? Are card details entered on the site?
Card payments are taken through the licensed payment institution PayTR with 3D Secure and SSL encryption; your card details are never seen or stored on our site. You may also confirm over WhatsApp, or pay with marketplace buyer protection through our official stores on Trendyol, Hepsiburada, n11, Pazarama and PTT AVM.
How does shipping and delivery work?
We ship to every province in Türkiye. Once the order is settled, in-stock items are packed with care and dispatched within 1–3 business days at the latest. Your tracking number is written to the order page in your member account and also sent over WhatsApp.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. For deliveries outside Türkiye, contact us on WhatsApp or by e-mail; shipping cost and transit time are quoted per destination country. Customs duties and import charges are payable by the recipient.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Yes. Under your statutory right of withdrawal in distance sales, you may return an item within 14 days of delivery or exchange it for another piece. Personalised items are exempt from the right of withdrawal. Details are on our Returns & Exchange page.
Do you offer wholesale or personalised production?
Yes. We quote special prices for wholesale/bulk purchase and bespoke production (corporate gifts, name engraving, engagement and henna favours). Just get in touch on WhatsApp.
Which kinds of prayer beads and products do you make?
Alongside handmade prayer beads in amber, pressed amber, Oltu stone, kuka and rosewood, we offer bracelets, necklaces, lighters, fragrances, soaps and prayer-bead/collector boxes.
Are the products handmade?
Yes. Every bead is selected and worked one by one; this is not mass production but patient craftsmanship. The imame and tassel work is matched to the stones.
How should I care for prayer beads?
Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from perfume and chemicals; wipe with a soft, dry cloth. With gentle use, amber and natural stones hold their form for many years.
